He was sitting in his office at home, going over the weeks reports. His family was known for thier skill as master weapon makers. He owned a percentage in the family business but preferred his true calling. A Klingon Warrior.
His orders were delivered by a mang. He looked at the padd and then read them.
Hod Du'Ralle you have been command of the newly commissioned bortaS at the shipyard Qanta.
He read it a second time, then grunted and walked back into his house. He began to set his house in order while doing the work needed to prepare for this posting.

At the Klingon Military Academy she finishes up her training as she knocks one of her trainers down with a bat'leth. "You have gotten weak in your fighting but you still fight like a proud warrior." She hits her chest for the salute as her second trainer hands her her orders. She reads them seeing she is going on a newly made ship that is ready to defend the Klingon Empire and all her Glory, the IKS bortaS which is stationed at the Qanta Shipyard. She felt honored to be assigned to such a powerful ship and to the legend Hod Du'Ralle. She once again saluted all of her trainers, about faces and takes her first step toward her future.

After finishing packing her duffel bag in her quarters at the Klingon Military Academy, she swings her bat'leth on her shoulder. She walks to the door and as it opens she turns back around to look one last time at her past and then walks on to get on board the ship that is headed to the Qanta Shipyard. While making her way to the Transporter Room she stated her good-bys to her friends that she had made there. There at the Transporter Room as she steps on the pad she felt a great deal of pride. As soon as she had transported over to the ship she was greeted with the Quartermaster and assigned temporary quarters in the trip to the Qanta Shipyard. Once there she felt this was a good time to take a nap. Hearing that the legend Hod Du'Ralle was tuff to deal with and might have her doing something as soon as she stepped on board the IKS bortaS she might not have time latter.

With his house in order and his goodbyes said he walked to his shuttle that he would pilot and then keep on the ship. His duffel swung on his shoulder as he walked. He nodded with a growl as he was waved on by one of the house soldiers. His duffel was taken from him then stowed on the shuttle.
He got into the shuttle and lifted off and proceeded to Qanter shipyard. The trip there gave him time to study the roster and do some research on the new crew. He had a good mixture of both seasoned and new warriors. It took 3 days to get to the ship.
"IKS bortaS this is Hod Du'Ralle. I need clearance to land."
He tapped on the armrest with his thumb in measure with battle song. What seemed like hours was in reality only a few minutes. The usual delays nothing unusual there.
"This is the bortaS you have clearance Hod."
He guided the shuttle in then once it was secured he got out, security scrambled to get his bag, taking it to his quarters. He didn't say a word, he had found this was the best way.
He left the shuttle bay and went straight to his quarters. His walk was swift, with his command robe swinging behind him. His batleth on his left shoulder. He carried himself with confidence, pride, strength and he was imposing to most who viewed him.

As he walked off the shuttle he was amazed at the size of the ship. His hearts beat proudly to think the Empire gave him the honor of being the Executive Officer of such a grand war ship.He had commanded the Gorta a Bird of Prey when he received his orders.
Standing tall and proud he showed his orders to an enlisted in the hangar bay.He read them and quickly saluted him.Saluting back he watched as the young male warrior grab his bags and started off for his quarters.
He followed but kept an even pace the power of the ship could be felt as he walked on the deck plating. He watched as his gear was set down by the warrior.Nodding and giving a short grunt the warrior saluted and left him.
He shifted his Bat'leth on his shoulder. He had never met the Hod Du'Ralle but he had heard of him in many a glorious battle song or tale.He would would have high expectations placed on him from the Hod and he would be ready.

Teshurr.....is that what you are going to wear? Where is your military uniform?
Teshurr turns slowly to face his father...
I'm the Qel of the ship....not the gunner mate! If HoD Du'Ralle order me to wear one...I have brought several with me.
Teshurr walks across the room and picks up his glass of blood wine.
And Father....how could you gotten me transfare from the Science Center to this ship without speaking to me first? You and the other in the High Council never understand that the group at the Center have been trying for years to get our medical standard to thou of other races and that of the Federation. There is a great gap between our Medical Science and our other Technology, all because of cultural biases.
Teshurr could see that his words have now angrier his Father.
Teshurr...You stop this foolish talk at once. The High Council wanted one of it best Qel onboard the Empire newest ship. And what a great honor one could have to serve under HoD Du'Ralle.
With the angry still in his father eyes, Teshurr move closer to him.
Come closer Teshurr and let this old man say goodbye to his son. Let us not leave with words of angry...
With that both men gave each other a hug. Twenty minutes later, Teshurr is on a shuttle heading to the IKS bortaS and wondering what he is going to find.

After the last Klingon was pick up by the shuttle, a young Klingon office hands Teshurr his order.
Teshurr was wondering went he would get these. Taken the Padd and starts to read.
Reading down his orders he see that the High Council has reject 15 of the 17 members of his medical staft from the Center. Only two med techs were allow to transfare to the ship. The rest of his staft looks like a who who's of best combat medit from the fleet...Teshurr is sure that if he was in a bar room brawl these Klingon would be fine...but in sickbay, he wasn't.
The shuttle now mades it landing in the hanger bay. As the shuttle empty, Teshurr is the last one off. A security office waiting him.
Qel Teshurr...I have been waiting for you. You will follow me, I will take you to your quarters ....they are in sickbay.
Teshurr looks to the officer and hands over his order. He then nods to officer and then follow the officer

A Bat-leth was made to fit the user . Should a Klingon warrior be wounded and, loose the use of one leg he/she chould be able to use the Bat-leth while on one knee thus her Bat-leth was just over 5 feet long, from tip of blad to tip of blade, and, three feet from hand holes to the blade itself. her 6 foot 5 inch 225 pound frame solidified on the pad her Bat-meth sheathed on her back as well as a Mek-leth at her right hip and, a knife on her left hip and right boot they were sheathed loosly as to make using them quicker. She was very angry, the reason no longer mattered because of this Anger she quickly took in every detail of those in the transporter room. the Emblem of not just the Empire on the wall but the Ship on the Transporter Console. the Guards who stepped aside as she left the room one about 6 foot 3 inches and, 240 pounds the other 6 foot 5 inches and 250 pounds both were inlisted with knives at their sides and boots neither had a Disrupter this she thought was unusual. She gave a grunt as they moved aside

Kh'Par then hugged his mother, and swung the Bat'leth over his shoulder and walked to the door, he looked back then proudly head to catch the shuttle

Entering engineering the smell of grease , plasma , wiring and other materials as well as sweat filled her nostrils. Klingons literally liked handson approach Klingon vessels depended less on the central computer and, more on knobs, switches as well as having more access panels. This was not to imply that Klingon vessels were less advanced just that such an agressive people were more hands on more brute force in their work. A grin crossed her face as she spoke the Vessels name "bortaS" which is to say "Revenge" She was still angryQul"Iw still flowing through her veins still enhacing her senses. Gathering her tools she made her way through engineering the rest of the decks would have to wait. Seeing the HoD had not crossed her mind as she took in the smell, sounds and, sights of engineering. a warrior knows their duties

"Mang Mai las we have arrived." She wakes up and sits on the end of the bed. "Thank you Hod." She stood up grabbed her duffel bag, swings her bat'leth over her shoulder and walks out. She headed to the Transporter Room and informs the Hod that she was ready to transport over. "IKS BortaS this is the IKC Klothos we have a Mang Mai las who has orders to come aboard. Permission to transport her over?"

The meH received a com stating a beq was waiting to be teleported.
"IKS Klothos message received send the beq over." The operations officer monitored the teleport and then went back to checking the energy flow and other vital information needed while the final preparations were being made.

Once back on the meh (bridge) he opened a ship wide channel."This is ra'wl Kurn the Executive Officer of the borta'S.All new beq (crew) and those aboard who have not reported in will report to me in the Observation Lounge on the meh.The Hod is preparing the ship for its departure and is not to be disturbed."
Turning off the channel he walked into the Observation Lounge where the HoD would generally have meetings with the crew.As he sat he thought of all the paper work that HoD Du'Ralle had to complete and he did not envy him. Then he realized he would be doing the same going over others orders and keeping them in order.Suddenly he growled the irony of the situation putting him in a foul mood.
