HISTORY: Galen was born to Joanna and Harrison Horn, He got his unusual name from a grandfather on his mothers side of the family. Being a native Floridian he has always enjoyed the water and anything that had to do with the water. From an early age when Galen wasn't swimming or at the beach he was reading about the trials and tribulations of famous Starfleet Captains. He often wondered what it would be like to "Head For The Stars".
He was an average student all through grammar and high school, often getting distracted in his studies. Upon graduation of high school, Galen applied for both the University Of Miami and Starfleet Academy, deciding to let faith dictate his decision. He attended the University of Miami for two years, majoring in marine biology, before getting accepted into Starfleet. He immediately packed a bag, said goodbye to his parents and left to pursue a career in the Federation Of Planets.
Galen found the schooling rough, just barely passing his subjects. He decided to major in ships operations and minor in security. He always stayed in good shape do to his rigorous swimming routines each day, so he did well in all the physical aspects of his security training. Upon graduation, Galen put in for the Lexington as an assistant security officer. He is currently serving on board that ship and is happy to finally get the hands on experience he so desperately longed for. Galen is medium in stature and build, but makes up for those two shortcomings with "Heart" he is currently 25 years of age and is single.
