This area needs no explanation. Even during a SL this will be open for your use. In a board sim a SL can run for months, so this area is open to allow character building and side story lines.

He entered his quarters and scanned the room making sure it was the way he wanted it. He growled at seeing how haphazard his duffel had been placed in the room. He would need to keep eye on that one. Such carelessness would not be accepted on his ship. A task taken was to be handled properly no matter how mundane it seemed to be.
He grabbed his bag and took it to the sleeping area, unpacking he stowed his belongings. Then Du'Ralle went to clean up, before touring the ship.

Before he began setting up his quarters he asked the computer where the Hod was.The computer promptly informed him the Hod was in his quarters.
He quickly decided it best not to introduce himself to Hod Du'Ralle in his quarters. He would wait until he was in his office or more likely touring the ship later.Something he wanted to do himself.
He informed the computer to tell him when Hod Du'Ralle had left his quarters. He unpacked the few belongings he had and grabbed the small metal box and took a seat.Opening it he laid out a large cloth a small bottle of oil and his fathers wet stone.
Taking his Bat'leth off his shoulder he put a small amount of oil on the cloth and ran it over the blade.Once it was covered with a thin layer of oil he began to run the wet stone over the blade.
As he sharpened his Bat'leth he began to sing a song that had been in his family for generations. It was a simple song about a warrior and his battles and his mistakes that nearly killed him but eventually made him stronger.

He got a cup of raktajino, sitting at the terminal he began a scan of those who came aboard. He saw his new XO arrived, he looked at the time and subconsciously nodded. It was important to him that both he and this, ah Kurn was on board before the majority of the crew.
He took the last of his Raktajino in one gulp, cleaned up and headed for his office.

Just as he had finished sharpening his Bat'leth the computer piped in and informed him that the Hod was now in his office. He placed the Bat'leth on its hangar on the wall and put on a new uniform.
Grabbing his orders he stepped out into the corridor walking with a purpose to the TL.He stepped in and headed for the meh.

Clothes changed she took another look at her quarters Bat-leth hung on the wall just above her Mek-leth. she finished folding her other uniforms and stowed them away. brushed her hair. just because shewas a warrior never meant she could not look neat. She had been busy these past few hours working on a few power distribution points. Though the ship drew its power from the docks at the moment many systems on the ship were working and parts still wore out. Now finished it was time to eat surely someone would be in the mess hall. she again went out the door

He sat on at the table in his quarters reading the latest crew arrivals. He noticed that the Operations, the new doctor, and science officers were still not on board. They should be arriving soon. He didn't want to leave without an operations officer.
He sat back in his chair and went over the padd he had with him on the new crew arrivals. He began to read it while he would not learn each and every member by rote he would know enough of them to run this ship.

He entered his quarter put his clothes away then his weapons in their usual place on the longest of the walls he enjoyed the clanking of his boots on the deck. he then removed his dirty uniform Carefully set aside his orders and, papers then entered the Shower.as usual the shower was cold something he liked as it made won alert and ready for battles, Stepping out of the shower he dried off before well before grabbng the clean uniform he had set on his steel bunk. he then sat down gathered his padd began studying the ship lay out before laying down it was late hewould not bother the Commanding officers. He was sure at least this Ra'wl' Kurn would make sure D'ghor was well in to things in the morning.

Stepping into her quarters she did not realize how tired she was.She shed her uniform and climbed into her bunk happy with the firmness that supported her body. She thought about the new friends she had made as she drifted off to sleep.

She finally hung her House Crest on the wall just accross from the door she would see it everytime sheentered her quarters. Her housewas not a house of warriors but of Welders and before metal they worked as Carpenters then blacksmiths she was the first in all known history to follow the warrior ways. Her family were those many other houses might charge to actually manufacture the decks or hulls there were many houses of this Cast or class. Vumwl': those Klingons and ,Houses that served as Accountant, weaponasmiths, and many other second rate proffesions such as Welders and, Carpenters whose members never thought to follow a Warriors path or felt they could never be accepted. She was the first in her house she hoped she would not be the last she had grown tired of seeing her father who she believed was just as honorable as her HoD bow down or wait for another Klingon simply because he was in a house of Warriors. A smile crossed her face one day her house would be known as a Warrior house then her father could stand with those that would other wise look down upon him as weak. Shewas determined to prove herworth to both the Ra'wl' and HoD Du'Ralle.

She steps off the Turbo Lift and walks down the hallway seeing names at the entry. She stopped finding her quarters and walks in. She stopped and looked around as she put her duffel bag down and swing the Bat'leth off her shoulder and puts it on the bed. She then heard that Alpha shift was to report to their stations and turned right around and left her quarters. As she stepped out she looked to see who's quarters was next to hers. "M'Kota" she said with a smile on her face.

It was fitting to call a Ship "He" she thought as she now sat on the bunk in her quarters. No matter how much attention he got like all males he always seemed to want more. Nothing was accomplished without a lot of sweat and, blood being spilled. As she went over the Ships performance again she pondered what had just Conspired as she made her rounds... She had squeezed out of a maintenance tube to find K'mpek a young warrior and, one of two that were to monitor the operation of the warp coils sitting against the bulk head. For ships safety this section was sealed off during battles or certain maneuvers locking anyone at this Console just outside and close to the main propulsion units and, in certain death if the section even took a minor hit. Anger came to her quickly she was pulling him up from the deck by his Armor as she Spoke. " You are Fortunate the HoD or Ra'wl are not with me for you would surely die!" she spat out every word as she was now nose to nose with him. "I will make you worthy of Him" a hand smacked the bulkhead to empathize who she was speaking of. her dk'tagh found his side and drew blood to the point he could not react. " A lesson to remember. You will find the Infirmary and hope the HoD or Ra'wl' does not hear of your Slothfulness. This is your post until further notice"

Her quarters was small compared to the others. Her single, so called bed was against the wall with a little foot locker at the foot of the bed. At the side of the bed near the head was what might be called a dresser. She kept her off duty clothes folded in there and small things like a hair brush on top. Next to the dresser stood a full lenght tri-mirror, to make sure her uniform is right. Next to the mirror on the next wall was her closet. It was so small it only kept her uniforms there for it did not have room for anything else. The next wall had her door and a play where she hung her Bat'leth at when not in use.

She sat on her Cot slowly cleaning her Food knife it paid to keep it in good shape. Her Father showed her that even such a small knive was an important tool. She was 6yrs old (Klingon years),many of her house were working in the maintainance tunnels below the City on Qonos to this day she could not tell you how long they were there, only that it was hot, damp and, dark. Steam and, smoke were everywhere as they were in places that most klingons would never think about, the Bowels of the city so to speak. She had seen one of her uncles open a Access panel with a small knife work on it the close it before leaving but, when she went up to it after it had been closed she saw no way to access it. Following what she thought she saw her hand reached for her food knife. Raising her hand she stabbed the Panel several times trying to open it but instead she was greeted by sparkes and a gapping hole in the panel its self. She stood there with a frown on her face when she heard her father laugh then Speak, "Is it dead yet my little warrior? She turned looked up to him and spoke anger in her face and voice "It would not open! K'pek used a knife."Her father seemed to study the panel before he took out his food knife put his arm around her bringing her closer to him and, the panel as he knelt beside her."Well look Closely see that Seam? Slip the blade of your knife right here" .She did exactly as she was told then began to pry , sure enough the now broken panel came up and her father through it out of the way."Now M'Kota next time study things closely, we may not be warriors but we too must see the details. Now you broke it so you must fix it. Remember next time see the details"
