She about faced and left the Bridge. Standing there to help protect the crew on the Bridge was important but still feeling like that Security was her department she wanted to make sure everyone was in place, doing their duties and not just standing around talking. She thought the first area she wanted to check out was Main Engineering. She enters with a smile on her face thinking once again about M'kota and her strength in fighting thinking maybe she should have been in Security instead of Engineering.

Engineering was hot even by Klingon standards. Something M'Kota was use to with her time spent as a Mole(tunnel worker [construction or other wise] ) underneath the Cities of Qonos as well as on other planets, her house also helped in the Construction of Bridges and, other infrastructure projects. that being the reason for her love of engineering. Her uniform was already quite dirty she had stripped to her Sleeveless "T" as well as Tight fitting pants she was sweaty. though the Environmental controls were fine else where the hit in engineering had strained them beyond their abilities.most in Engineering were to busy to notice anything but their work.She looked at Mai las without a nod, smile or, growl she was caring a part in each hand as she left her office, she was just too busy.

He was still in the same position, watching intently looking out the view port. The drones would have reported back the hit and the damage inflicted on the bortaS. They needed to move quickly to reestablish before the next hit or phase.

whether it was his job or not he was already working on impoving reaction time of each system to another as well as the back up systems that were set in place. It was good to see Engineering had seen to their readiness as well. all those on the Bridge would see was him being busy.

Maneuvering the ship before the next, round of fire came, while trying to give the Tac a clear shoot

She had already assigned a Technician to Synchronize the Engines they were another of the systems that had suffered minor damage from the hit. Not being one to give an excuse Which would make her less than a Warrior worse yet it would make her like the Fleeters she had heard about. One must note she had never left Klingon space and, Certainly never seen a Fleeter. "La M'Kota here. On it." her voice still had a soft touch even with the Authority and, Confidence she let ring through.

She looked around seeing the Engineers hard at work. Why was she here doing this drill? Because the Security Chief ordered Security to the Engineering but why? She walked over to a console that one of the Engineers left and she ran her fingers over it to check on how the drill was doing. Yes she was board but if she was not then that would mean something bad was going on and that was really not good. Warriors might die. Of course to die in battle was honorable but to live to fight many battles and have your name last forever was even better.

She exited her office still wearing the Usual uniform variant that both males and females som wore especially in engineering. Engineering was a bit cooler the air was clearing as the Environmental Contorls fixed. Seeing Mai lasPlaying with a SeHlaw(control panel) she walked over touched something on the console that caused it to go dark as it was turned off."Ha'(Come on) we have begh (deflectors) to repair."

He spokeas he was monitorng any activity on Communications as well "Drones have sent a report "Preparing for next phase"

She felt it was time to report in and hits the com. "(Do not know the rank) Tumak, son of Kveld, house of Torath all is quiet in Main Engineering Sir." But of course it this was real then intruders might have been here. She steps away and let the engineer take over.

He knew things were too quiet, something was going to happen at any moment. A ship allowed to be repaired during a test? He had no sooner thought that, when communications turned into static.

It was then in this silence when another ship suddenly uncloaked and hit them with disruptor fire near the engineering section. The ship shook with the sudden attack, the drones cloaked. Where they still there or had they left?

"Return disruptor fire, engage evasives, I want a full report on that ship."

[Mang Kh'Par]

A ship uncloaks and opens fire with its Disruptor's hitting the ship, he quickly beings evasive on line and starts evasive maneuvers, just as the HoD gave the orders, he said nothing but let his skill speak for him, as he maneuvered into position for the best shot

His hands moved swiftly as he began to return fire. The disruptor's hit the engineering section. Then as the ship moved to evade incoming fire he continued to fire along the ship.

She cursed the shaking as well as the now more blown Conduits spewed Plasma everywhere includingon few Technicians. The Blast Doors Slammed shut sealing Engineering from the rest of the ship anyone in engineering was her for the ride .'course if the Core were to blow blast doors meant nothing as the Core was not designed to eject. Power and systems would be down all over the ship, not yet in real battle already he was taking a beating. She was once again shouting orders as she gathered up her tool bag. Engineering again filling with plasma and, Smoke from burning Consoles. She spoke as she walked ."Good thing The gods are already dead 'cause when this is over I would kill them myself" A technician gave a grunt of agreement as he went in step beside her.
