Feel free to Post here. unlike most Federation Mess set with tables and, chairs able to seat only24 at a time now it can seat 50 as it has been opened more to accomodate Wooden tables with benches against the walls with a Center isle. Replicators along the back wall only.

Sitting at the center isle this is first time severing under anyone and on top that its a Klingon CO, he looks down at the Targh which looks quite good, the Rokeg blood pie looks nasty but he will give it a try, he has a mug of Bahgol a tea like drink.
He looks at the food and takes a bight of Targh, it taste like bore from earth, he starts eating more of it and takes a drink

Walked in already carrying a very big mug of what smelled to be Warnog, the real stuff not replicated apparently he had some stashed in his quarters . Gave an order to the replicator for Octopus. pulled the plate from the receptical then went to one of the tables at the far end of the mess sat down and began to eat. Actually hewas shoving it in as if he had not eaten in days. which was not true of course. he paused only long enough to take a drink from his mug.
(OOC. Replicaters are of course set up to give both Klingon and, Federation style food.)

He sees the HoD enter and get him some food, he noticed the he was shoving food in his mouth like he had not eaten in days, but new from his studies Klingon's often eat that way
Matt took a bite of the Rokeg blood pie it had an Iron taste to it,he sallowed it, it wasn't the worse thing he ever tasted but it was darn close he looked at the HoD "What is Rokeg blood pie made out of" he looked back at it as he asked

After swallowing a bite he gave a grunt then replied. "blood" he then took a long drink from his mug.

Walking into the mess hall, Tom gets a good looks at the new sit up. Thinks to himself that he not in Boston anymore. He now heads to the replicator and hope the Commander hasn't had the system total program for Klingon food. He order a bowl of beef strew and several spices of brown bread. As he wait...he see the CSEC officer Matt Hawking. He see his food is there and guess what...."beef strew and brown bread."
Now with his tray, he heads over to where Matt is sitting and sits down across from Matt. Tom looks over at what Matt is eating Rokeg blood pie.
"Now that looks like a bowl full...Rokeg blood pie...I would say." ::smiles::" Anything in that bowl still moving?"

He looked up at the HoD "That much I get I was just wondering what animal?" he takes another bite, when Tom walked over, Matt looked at him and smiled "Nothing alive........not sure I want try Gagh, thou the roasted Targh is good" he takes a drink of Bahgol "I figured might as well try Klingon food, the Bahgol is good" he says

She stepped into the mess hall, pausing to look around. She would spot the HoD, along with the two human LoD's. The HoD eating and looking like he wanted to be left alone.
She turned toward the replicator and just then the scent of Blood Pie reached her nostrils. She glanced back over, to trace the scent and saw one of the human loD's eating some. She grunted to herself, the loD earning a couple of respect points in her eyes. Were they trying to fit in or just trying to prove they can be just as tough as Klingons?
She ordeers some Pipis Claws. a mug of Fire wine and a bowl of Zilm'kach ( A klingon fruit, similiar to apricots ), without the pits. She would then go find a seat away from the loD's

Tom is about to say something went Cmdr T'Var walks in and heads to the replicator.
"I wonder what she getting?' Tom keep watching to see what comes out of the replicator. First... one plate that looks like gaint crabs legs, next a mug of something, and then bowl of what looks like fruit. He turns back to Matt.
"So what do you think of the HoD and our Tac officer? The word is that we are about to get a third Klingon....this one is going to be another female and a Doctor!" Eats a mouth full of his strew. He then washes it down with a drink of water.
"You know Matt, this crew is under staff right now as it is and we do have "Doc". You would think Command would have given us an XO at the least. But what do I know...Maybe they think "Doc" doesn't know how to patch up a Klingon?' Smile as he goes back to watching T'Var the call out.
"Commander T'Var....would you like to joining us...we have lots of room." Point to the seat next to Matt.

Takes a bite of Blood Pie then he looks at Tom "Their very knowledgeable about what they do, T'var is quite good looking for a Klingon, The HoD well It may be the Klingon way" he says taking another bite of Blood Pie "But at times I think he thinks we can't handle our self's" takes a drink "Gymma can handle patching the Klingon's up, but having a Klingon doc makes sense they will know more about Klingon's, I my self think Gymma would make a great XO" he then looks back at T'var then Tom "We can always use another doctor and it being a Be' even better" he smiles then it goes away "I mean look they don't even sit with us" he shrugs and keeps eating

Finished with his meal he walked to the recyclers where he placed his plates he then stopped where Matt and, Tom were sitting. without sitting he spoke his accent had softened some except on on certain occasions when something was hard for him to say. A Friend had told him Humans liked to hear when they had done a good job this was foreign concept to him so here he was staring at each of them searching what was in their eyes for he was one of those Klingons who believed the measure of a man was in his eyes.it took only a second for all this as he spoke his accent very heavy "You done good today." He then turned walked out the door

As the HoD come pass their table, he stop. Kalor, then looks down at the two men...then he speaks.
"You done good today." were the only words he spoke. Before they could answer him....Kalor walks off. Tom looks across the table at Matt. "Now that was something I didn't aspect." Tom then stand and call back to the HoD....."Thank you Sir"

He was caught off guard when the HoD told him and Tom "You done good today" then he walked away, Matt nodded to Tom's comment, and watched as Tom stood up and yelled toward the HoD thank you, Matt still setting gave the HoD a Klingon salute, then looking at Tom "That was hard for him, what he did is a foreign concept to Klingon's just to walk up and give praise" he finished his food "He has gain more respect from me, A true warrior can adapt to his surroundings The Klingon Empire will sing of the ship and its Crew" Drinks the last of his tea and slams his mug down on the table "Honor to the Talon and his Crew and to the Klingon Empire" he knew he wasn't good at toasting but he did it anyways

Tom watches as Matt stand and toast the HoD."Hey Matt you ready get into this Klingon thing aren't you? You do know that we are still a Federation ship with a Klingon captain?" With that Tom picks up his tray and head to recycler to drop it off. He stop for a second and think maybe Matt has something there..learning more about the Klingons may not be a bed idea. He call back to Matt. "Hey I catch you a later need to get back to engineering."
Walking out of mess he spot T'Var sitting alone and eating..."T'Var" ::nods to her and walks out.

Her gaze turned back to moody as he called out to her to join them, since they have lots of room. She grunted, acknowledging the fact that there is indeed lots of room in the mess hall. What Moody seemed to miss, and the other human loD as well, is that most, if not all Klingons ate alone. At least, she did "Hija, lots of room and I am eating." She called back, making it sound like she is used to eating alone. She noticed the HoD finishing his own meal, disposing of his refuge then going to speak to the human loDs for a brief moment then leaving
Her gaze slid over to the other human, Hawking as he slammed his mug down, toasting the Klingon Empire and the ship in Klingon fashion. She shakes her head thinking the loD is trying too hard to fit in. He should act as his own species dictates, not act like something he is not.
Before going back to eating she would nod at Moody as he departed the mess hall
