She was laying in bed thinking about Chris, she got up put on a robe, and entered their living area, she went to her paint set and started painting she didn't know what it would be yet, she just started adding colors it looked like a mess but she knew it would take shape latter.
She would look around for Chris, then giggle hes probably in engineering, that man works so hard she thought to her self

She was laying in bed trying to sleep, the last few weeks had strained her more than she thought, she was worried her and Chris would be separated.
Now all the stress had caught up to her, she was sleeping 3 hours a night if that, she got up and walked into the other room "Honey I'm going to go see the Doctor I still can't sleep" she told Chris as she tried to hide being worried about it she kissed his cheek then head out.
She wasn't trying to be rude she was just so worried, something was wrong with her, as she walked thoughts of how Chris would take if she died, she thought funny I can handle my duties with out being scared but me or Chris Dieing scares me.

Still half sleeping he waved his hand in the air as acknowledgment to her. After she had left he got to thinking what she said and got up. At first he was thinking the worst but then shook his head thinking it might just to be getting something to help her sleep since she has not been sleeping well. He stood up and walked over to the replicator and took some breakfast to the table. The way the things been going on in Engineering he never could remember what meal time it was or what time it was either.

It's said Commander V.Yates. Gunn just shakes his head and think she moves pretty fast. He looks about for his things and the special case that was given to him by Star Fleet Security.

“THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE” PART 1 (These are the events that lead up to the face to face confrontation between Captain Jenn Nadire and Doctor Maxwell Gunn.)
Personal Log of Commander Maxwell Gunn Stardate:65110.45
It was several hours since I last seem Captain Nadire. Since I was one of the last to leave the ship, I figure I would catch up with the Captain once I was beams down to San Francisco. That was my first mistake.
After going to transport station #1 on the ship, I was beam down to Star Fleet Medical Headquarter in the center of Star Fleet Command by the old Golden Gate Bridge. Stepping off the padd I was confronted by two men dress in Star Fleet Security uniforms. I was told that I needed to follow them and this was a matter Federation security. I was about to ask why, but was told that all my questions will be answer once we get to the Headquarters of Star Fleet Intelligence. We then walk down a long corridor to a section of the build that was marked…”Security Only”. The three of us enter and pass by several members of Star Fleet Security. We stop at a door and one of the agents I was with show the guard his badge and then the three of us enter the room.
Looking about the room once we enter I see a transport padd and several other in black military uniforms with no marking on them from any of the branches of Star Fleet. One of my guards walks over to a tall female with blonde hair and started to speak to her. The other guard told me go stand by the transport. Within a few minutes the two security agent in uniform left the room. The tall blonde then walks over to me. “Doctor Gunn, I am Ensign Sorenson. I will be sending you on to headquarter from here.” I then look at her. “And where may that be?” She just smile and turns from me and call out. “Franks, mark the time as 1354.” Before Gunn could ask another question Ensign Sorenson brings up a hypo pen and presses it again his right arm. Gunn said “What was that?” Sorenson answer Gunn back. “Sir, now we have you…we don’t want to lose you. Now please stand on the padd.”
Gunn is holding his right arm, and step on the padd. He closes his eyes as he dematerializes from one padd and materializes at another. Standing on the padd, he looks about and can’t believe the size of this transport room. He count 16 transporter padd and about 40 people in the room. Most are dress in those black military about there are several dressed regular uniforms, but he didn’t seem anyone lower than the ranks of commodore. Stepping off the padd he is met by another female…this one is just a little smaller than him with dark red hair, pull back in a bon. “Commander Gunn. It’s good to meet you. I am Commander Helen Anderson. And I will be your guide here today. Please follow me.” As he follows her, he notices that they pick up two guards before they get to the door”. Before the door open she turns to me. “I am sorry but till you leave this location these two will be with you went I am not”. Next stop a bank of turbo lifts. Anderson than place here hand on a hander scanner. “Commander Anderson please looks into the optic scan next”. She now looks into the optic scanner and the doors open. We all now enter the turbo lift and then the doors close. “Commander Anderson. What level?” Anderson calls out. “Section six, third floor, please.”
Gunn hear someone enter sickbay. “Computer end log”

“THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE” PART 2 (After a crewmember from engineering come into sickbay with a class 1 plasmas burn, Gunn treat him and sent him on his way. Gunn goes back into his office to add to his log.)
Personal Log of Commander Maxwell Gunn Stardate:
The turbo lift comes to a stop. But before the doors open, Commander Anderson turns to me. “Doctor Gunn, I will warm you, once you step out of this turbo lift. You need to be sure about how you answer any questions that will be put to you. But more important than your answers are the questions you don’t answer”. The doors open and we all get out of the left. Anderson looks at one of the guards. “Take the Good Doctor to Interrogation room 309”. She then turns to me. “Doctor Gunn, I’ll be with you in 10 minutes, so go with them please.” I follow the guards, one in front and the other in the rear. We go down one corridor and take a right turn and half way down the next corridor we come to a door on the left side of the corridor. On the wall is a panel with a key padd and a optic scanner. The lead guard places his face to the optic scanner. “Lt Martin, please enter you code.” The guard does and the door open. He tells me to walk inside and I do. The door closes behind me. Looking about the room I find a long metal table with four chairs two on each side, some kind of viewing screen on the right hand wall, a food replicator and a tray rack to the left. The back wall has a door that is mark “Rest Room”.
:: At the same time they are taken Doctor Gunn to the interrogation room, Commander Anderson enter the room across from the turbo lift. In the room are 15 computer console with 15 persons manning then. She then walks over to post 309. “What do you have for me Roberta?” The women look up. “We have the Doctor online. His bio sign are coming up now.” On the screen the reading comes up of all Gunn’s bio signs. “Good Roberta now let get the rest of the scans online and have the Commodore and his aid meet me in 309” With that Anderson walks out of the room and down the corridor.::
I have been waiting for over ten minutes for sure. I went to the replicator went the door open and Commander Anderson walks in. “Doctor…we will get with this going once the Commodore get here.” I got myself a cup of coffee and head back to the center of the room. At the same time the door open and in walk two men. The first man had white hair, stand six feet and in his mid to late fifty. The second man much younger, maybe late 20’s, 6 feet 2 to 4 inches tall and black hair. The older man speaks to me. “Doctor Gunn, I’m Commodore Cisco. I am sorry to have to bring you here on short notices. Please have a seat and we will get this started.” I find myself sitting on one side and the Commodore and Commander on the other side. The young man stands right behind the Commodore holding what looks like old 20 century military folders. I then ask the Commodore a question. “Sir could you tell me what branch of Star Fleet do you belong to. I can’t tell by your uniforms”? The Commodore looks at Anderson and back to me.” Doctor, we are part of Star Fleet Intelligence. That is all you need to know for now”. Anderson then takes over. “Doctor Gunn, I see by your service recorder that you have service on the USS Nebuchadnezzar for six years. You were assign there as the AMO to Chief Medical Officer Doctor Karo. And after several months you took over as Chief Medical Officer once Doctor Karo went on LOA is that correct?” I then nod to her question. “Doctor, please answer the question. This will be the last time I will ask you to give me a spoken answer. Am I clear?” I look at her.”Yes Commander. That is correct.” The Commodore looks at me. “Looks Doctor, this is hard enough…just answer the question and we will all get along fine…You may now go on Commander.”Anderson looks back to me. “So it is fair to say that you would know the mental and physical heath of the Captain and the crew?” I answer her yes. “So what is you professional thoughts on the mental and physical heath of Captain Nadire?” I told Anderson I though the Captain has been under a great amount of pressure and somewhat falling heath do to problems with her Brog nanoprobe. Anderson then tells me she will get back to Nadire later, but now let get to someone else. “Doctor, what do you know of Rear Admiral Gregory and Federation Department of Temporal Investigation?” I tell her that the Admiral has showed up offend on the Nezzar and that he is somewhat friendly with the Captain. But that all I knew about that. As for the Dept of Temporal Investigation, I was sure it had something to do with time and time travel. The Commodore looks at me and back to Anderson. “Tell him”. Anderson turns to me. “Up to six months ago, Your Captain and the Nebuchadnezzar have what they use to call flying under the radar. But we start to intercepted coded message from the DTI and in some of the messages your ship name and her captain. With time we had a tie with the DTI and your Captain. So again Doctor Gunn…Do you know anything that tie Captain Nadire and DTI together?”

“THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE” PART 3
“Like I said before, all I know was Admiral Gregory visited the Nezza a few times before we return to Earth. The Admiral did speak to Captain Nadire and Commander Cooper. He also spoke to me about the health of the Captain.” Anderson turns and whispers something to the Commodore. He gives her a simple nod. Anderson once more turns and speaks to me. “Doctor did you know that your Captain was beam down to Headquarter of DTI? There she had a private meeting with Rear Admiral Gregory. Than later in the day Captain Nadire and Commander Cooper both met with the Rear Admiral.” I took a drink of my coffee and looks back at Anderson. “Now Commander if I knew that information, don’t you think I would have told you? Plus if the Captain wanted me to know, she would have told me!” Anderson is getting a little red around t he collar and is about to lay into me. At this time the Commodore speak up. “Doctor Gunn, I think it about time for us to chance subject and turn our attention to you. Ensign O’Dea please places those folders on the table and leaves for now.” The young ensign does what he is told. After places down the folders, the Ensign leaves.
There are six large folders on the table to the left side of the Commodore. After the Ensign walks out, Commodore Cisco turns over the first two and takes the third. “Yes, this will do for start, Commander Gun you were born on Earth. The fourth son of Commodore Samuel Gunn and Commander Helen Rose Gun, both alive and retire from Star Fleet. I see here you had two brother kill at the Battle of Wolf 359. You graduate the Academy 14 years ago.” Commander Cisco then picks up one of the two folders he had place to the side. The cover of this folder read: STAR FLEET ACADEMY. “You know Doctor; I always found it helpful to looks into one pass. I am sure you must know that this whole investigation isn’t about the DTI or Captain Nadire. But you knew that or know it now. I see by your recorder you were on the fast track the first two years at the Academy. In you second year you lead you class in mathematics, science, and leadership. By your Academy folder here it states that you were the picture perfect cadet. You were smart and popular. I see by the names of those you hang out with I may say it’s a who’s who of Star Fleet. You know it was after your first brought you to us.
I look at both of them and just shake my head. “You know I should have known something was going on. Two months ago I started getting messages from Doctor Antunes. He informs me that the project is back online and if the subject and the still with us. I wasn’t sure what to make of this, so four day ago I contact Doctor Antunes. I told him the time and place that I would be coming back to Star Fleet Command. And now look…I here. I’m guessing that you are not the welcome wagon. So tell me Commodore. What do you want from me?”
The Commodore looks over at me. “Very good, I like a person who wants to get right to the point. What we are interested in today is the project known as “Seed” and what was your part. From our recorders we know that you took a LOA from Star Fleet right after you graduate from medical school. Next we have report that you are at science outpost on the Andorian home planet of Andoria. Then six years ago Doctor you show back up from your LOA. Take us from there.”
I wasn’t sure what they knew and if Doctor Antunes has given me up to save his own life. I then figure I will tell them what they wanted to hear. “What I know about the “Seed Project” Is just what part I was involved in. You are correct that once I graduate Medical School I did leave Star Fleet to join Doctor Antunes. He told me that my work would help the Federation against their biggest enemy…The Borg. I knew since Doctor Antunes knew my family lost, that I would join with no question asks. I then was off to Andoria. On Andoria I met with Doctor Antunes and several people. There was Andorian, Vulcan’s, and Humans. I would be joining a team and we would be part of a larger group. I was told I would be joining Team #5 and there were six teams all together. They also told me I would never know who the other team’s members were because of security reason. Being part of Team #5 I was working on Nanomedicine. We work long days and most nights. We were working on a new nanoprobe that would attack Borg’s probes. After three long years of hard work we were ready for a field test. I met with what we call the “Council”. They went over all our finding and lab testing and they agreed it was time. I was told that I would be heading back to Star Fleet within a week or so. Two day later a Star Fleet Medical ship, the U.S.S Starfire pick me up. Once on board I meet with the ship captain. He had my next orders and told we were to met up with the USS Nebuchadnezzar and that we were to meet up with her in several days. I would be joining as the new AMO of the ship. For the next few days I work in the General Sickbay of the ship. We made several stop before we met up with the Nezzar and that turns out be more like several weeks not days. Few hours before I would be transfer to the Nezzar, the Captain calls me into his RR. Once I was there he told me he had am update in my order and handed me a new padd and told me good luck. I went back to my quarters and packed. I then went over my new order. I found my subject. It was person who survives assimilation and had a colony of Borg’s nanoprobe still active with her body. My test subject was Captain Jenn Nadire. Once I was transfer over to the Nezzar, I found that Doctor Karo was got on leave. So Captain Nadire places me as ACMO of the ship. I thought I would have time to start my work, but I was thrown right into the mess.” Commander Anderson asks me “Doctor Gunn, what kind of tests did you do on the Captain?” I told her I was going to starts with blood testing and to get her simples of her Borg nanoprobe. I would find it hard to get my much done with my subject since the Nezzar was always in some kind of actions. I did find that two old friends were on the Nezzar, Commander Vanessa Yates and Lt. Commander Steph Morgan. After I settle in I started my work. Testing was going good, but after two years all communication with the Council stop. Doctor Antunes also stop communication. I was on my own. I was then asked what I did for the next four years. At this point I only told them what I needed to tell them. I did tell them about my success of the new replacement nanoprobe. Once I was done with the two I was sure I told them what they wanted to hear. But then Commodore Cisco spoke up. “Doctor, we will need all your work on the nanoprobe. Plus you will return back to the Nebuchadnezzar and get back to you work, but you will be working for us this time. Your new handler will be Commander Anderson here” he points to the Commander. “I want you to keep a close eye on Nadire her new friends in DTI. We also want to know any contact the ship has with the Borg. But if you do wish not to do this, I will promise you, things wouldn’t go good for you or Miss Morgan and your three children.” I then agreed to help them.
Log out.

Stepped out of the Aclove Starfleet had installed within his quarters. He never went to the mess as the nanoprobes supplied all the nutrients he needed the aclove supplied all the energy for the probes. Walked to the drawers in his quarters, his being rather sparse but then he had grown use to not having much room , pulled out a uniform laid it on the table before entering the Sonic shower. Only thing he disliked about being on a ship now a Sonic shower if only they knew how close this was to how a Drone is treated. Now clean he gathered his undergarments putting them on before sliding on his pants then shirt. He took a seat then pulled on socks and Shoes.
A Borg drone would enter its regenerative state similar to sleep for a period of time called a regeneration cycle. A regeneration cycle would vary in length based on factors such as: how long it had been since the drone last entered an alcove; what species and age the drone was; was the drone injured and was the drone needed for assignment or task. A typical regeneration cycle took a full 6 hours to complete. (VOY: "Child's Play") When part of the collective a drone could go without regeneration for roughly two hundred hours before it suffered serious ill-effects. (VOY: "Hunters")
Although during regeneration a drone would enter a mental state similar to that of sleep, it remained far from unconsciousness. Drones who were disconnected from the Borg Collective and hive mind were able to stop the regeneration cycle themselves at their desire, although an incomplete regeneration cycle is likened to being woke from slumber and can have an effect of grogginess. (VOY: "Child's Play")
With knowledge of Borg technology, alcoves could be integrated directly into Starfleet vessels to serve the same purpose of their counterparts on Borg vessels. When this was done they would require over thirty megawatts of power to run each alcove. (VOY: "Dark Frontier") Or if needed, a Borg drone could regenerate by means of a converted Federation power conduit which would function similar to an alcove. (TNG: "I Borg")
I see Savak's picture on my table and am reminded of the first time she realized what her Gram papa was. Wearing only a loose fitting pair of cut off jeans that barely hung at my waist I stood on the beach behind my Las Angeles home watching the sun set. The varied colors of orange to red seemed to ripple with the waves as an unusually light breeze blew in my face. Humans tell me this is a beautiful sight. I am uncertain what beauty is but I find it Interesting. This is the sole reason I bought this house. Earth is the only one of few planets one can see such a sight. I hear Savak coming up behind me I am more certain now of my logic that told me she should be raised with humans and given the choice of what teachings to follow. She giggles forgetting me hearing is as good as hers. she wants to sneak up on me. How many times have I ruined her fun by not understand such a simple Human game. She lashes out and growls in response I jump turn around trying hard to give the human look of surprise while i quickly bend down and scoop her up in half Vulcan Borg hands. She screams, "Their Cold Grammpapa!" I very gentlyput her down both brows raised as I watch her step away thi s being the first time she had seen them as usually I wear long sleeves and gloves. I then look at my hands then her face seeing what looks like horror. At this moment I am reminded of a Book I read some weeks ago. Frankenstein by Mary Shelly I quickly place my hands behind my back. I am speechless as I watch her run up the hill to the house. Those that keep my house will care for her at this moment for Surely I am V Frankenstein's "Hideous Progeny". Frankenstein being the Borg of course

The voices they were a comstant reminder of what he was they never truely went away as long as the Cranial Transciever was intact it not onlysent out a beacon wher he was at but recieved messages from the Collective . IT was believed in most cases that distance determined what the Drone or former drone recieved Seirtuk knew this was not true.
The cranial transceiver is an interplexing beacon implanted within the braincase of every Borg drone. Each transceiver contains a unique translink frequency that allows the drone to stay in contact with the collective. (VOY: "Timeless")
In an alternate version of the year 2390, where USS Voyager crashed after a quantum slipstream flight, The Doctor was able to extract Seven of Nine's cranial transceiver and determine its translink frequency. This allowed Harry Kim and Chakotay to contact Seven in the past and avert Voyager's destruction. Seven's translink frequency was 108.44236000. (VOY: "Timeless")
The translink frequency (or translink signature) is a frequency unique to the interplexing beacon of each Borg drone.
In 2375, The Doctor determined Seven of Nine's translink signature aboard the Delta Flyer, so that her shipmates could send her a message during a mission to rescue her from the Borg Unicomplex. (VOY: "Dark Frontier")
In an alternate timeline in 2390, Chakotay and Harry Kim requested that The Doctor extract the interplexing beacon from Seven of Nine's corpse in order to determine her translink frequency, which would allow them to send a message to her in the year 2375. The Doctor found that Seven's translink frequency was 108.44236000. (VOY: "Timeless")
An interplexing beacon was a type of subspace transmitter utilized by the Borg that allowed long-distance communication between drones. Each drone had an implanted interplexing beacon with a unique translink frequency.
In 2063, after having traveled back in time from the year 2373, a group of Borg drones attempted to construct a large interplexing beacon on the USS Enterprise-E's navigational deflector in an attempt to contact the Borg of that time period in the Delta Quadrant. The beacon was destroyed by Captain Picard and Lieutenant Commander Worf, however, before the Borg had a chance to activate it. (Star Trek: First Contact)
In 2390, Harry Kim and Chakotay used a stolen Borg temporal transmitter to send a message back in time to Seven of Nine's interplexing beacon, in the year 2375, in order to save the USS Voyager, which had been destroyed in the Takara sector while attempting to utilize quantum slipstream drive to return to the Alpha Quadrant. By sending a new set of phase corrections to Seven, they were able to successfully change history by causing the slipstream to collapse, returning Voyager to normal space before the crash. (VOY: "Timeless")
Later in 2375, while using the Delta Flyer in an attempt to rescue Seven of Nine, who was being held aboard the Borg Unicomplex, Captain Janeway managed to send Seven a covert message via Seven's interplexing beacon. Janeway's transmission was eventually detected by the Borg Queen, however, who was able to trace it back to the Flyer's location. (VOY: "Dark Frontier")
